TRUE FRIENDS VISIT GAZA EVEN IN ITS DARKEST HOUR

Once, long ago, Jews, Christians and Muslims lived side by side in the land across the water, before Zionism took control of the Jewish religion and the region. For as I stood in the darkness on the balcony in Gaza and I cast my gaze across the water, I can see lights, millions and millions of lights twinkling in abundance. So what was once part of Palestine, it is lit up like a giant Christmas tree or Disney Land in the distance, welcoming the world to the now Jewish State as the people of Gaza suffer with candles in the darkness. This is the story of the “haves” and the “have nots” the occupiers and the occupied, the land stealers on one side, and on the other side in the darkness, those with the keys still in their hands.

A WEEKEND IN PALESTINE …. IF YOU CAN GET THERE (PART TWO)

Palestinian and international cyclists were brutally attacked by the Israeli occupation forces on Saturday as they attempted to bike up Route 90, the main North-South highway running through the Jordan Valley. The cyclists were demonstrating against Israeli apartheid policies in the Jordan Valley, which limit Palestinian access to roadways as part of an ongoing campaign of ethnic cleansing against the indigenous Bedouin communities of the Valley.

Israeli soldier suspended for gun-butt attack

An Israeli soldier has been suspended after video footage showed him hitting a foreign pro-Palestinian activist in the face with his gun during a bicycle rally in the occupied West Bank, according to the Israeli military.

Footage of the incident posted on YouTube was picked up by Israeli television on Sunday, prompting condemnation from Binyamin Netanyahu, the Israeli prime minister.

“You let ‘em video it, you Putz!?!”

ARE TURKEY AND NATO CONTEMPLATING A MILITARY INTERVENTION AGAINST SYRIA AHEAD OF THE CHICAGO SUMMIT?

On April 11 Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdo?an told reporters accompanying him to China that Turkey is considering asking the 28-nation North Atlantic Treaty Organization to invoke its Article 5 collective military assistance clause against Syria after a reported brief cross-border skirmish between Syrian military forces and what were identified as refugees, whether armed or otherwise remains unclear. Turkey unabashedly provides refuge for and, though not publicly acknowledged, assistance to thousands of Free Syrian Army fighters in its south.

The Turkish head of state insisted that “NATO has a responsibility to protect Turkish borders,” in what could only be interpreted as an allusion to the military bloc’s founding document provision mentioned above, the bulk of which states:

OBAMA’S SYRIA DESTABILIZATION CAMPAIGN: Despite the Ceasefire Agreement, Assassinations and Kidnappings Continue…

As the UN Ceasefire Agreement in Syria reaches it’s forth day, the so-called “rebels” and “activists” are continuing their destabilization campaign now with the help of “non military aid” provided by the Obama administration and paychecks for the terrorists coming from other Middle Eastern countries.

Kidnappings and assassinations have been rampant these past few days mainly targeting candidates for the upcoming elections.

European Airlines Silence Palestine Protest

JERUSALEM — As 60 percent of the international activists set to land at Ben Gurion airport Sunday had their plane tickets cancelled, organizers of the “Welcome to Palestine” fly-in campaign condemned what they say is European complicity in Israel’s illegal restrictions on their right to travel freely.

“It’s a sign of capitulation and obedience to illegal orders from the Israeli government since European regulations state that people have the right to travel,” Nicolas Shahshahani, an organizer with a French delegation of approximately 500 people expected to arrive in Tel Aviv Sunday, told IPS.
