DANCING AROUND APARTHEID

A group of activists held a protest outside the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) on Wednesday. The issue: an Israeli dance troupe, The Batsheva Dance Company, was performing at BAM, in defiance of an ongoing cultural boycott of Israel, called by activists to draw attention to Israeli mistreatment of Palestinians.

Israel must not bind itself to Netanyahu’s vulgar rhetoric on Iran

Aside from the fact that he deepened our feelings of victimhood, insulted the American president and narrowed the options for diplomacy, Netanyahu did not improve Israel’s situation one jot by this speech, just as he hasn’t by any of his others.

Netanyahu was and remains essentially a PR man: someone for whom words and rhetoric replace reality. The spine-chilling fear is that one day, all of us – himself included, despite his caution and hesitation – will discover too late that we have become hostages to his Churchillian speech, but without a Churchillian victory.

The very brave editors at haaretz.com who put this op-ed together are absolutely correct.

Russia, China, and Pakistan, all nuclear-armed countries, have publicly stated that if Iran is attacked, they will go to its defense militarily.

Also, should a US attack on Iran not be a blitzkrieg, executed with absolute precision, a protracted war against Iran could go very badly for the US government, because we don’t have the troop strength, the money, or the manufacturing to sustain a prolonged war successfully.

Everyone in the bowels of power in DC and Tel Aviv, needs to think very very clearly what the true desired outcomes are here, and be extraordinarily careful about what they wish for, should such an attack against Iran move forward.

The possibilities for horrifically unintended consequences in this war are legion.

FLASHBACK – Israel’s nuclear program implicated in U.S. investigation

According to Institute for Science and International Security researchers U.S. based Israeli company Pelogy violated export regulations.

But Iran is the problem, sayeth ABNNBBCBSFOX!

Prosor: Arab Countries Support an Attack on Iran

Israel’s ambassador to the United Nations, Ron Prosor, said on Friday that he is concerned about the slowness of the international community regarding Iran’s nuclear program but is encouraged by the fact that Arab countries are speaking out against Iran.

He added that recent reports by the International Agency for Atomic Energy (IAEA) are a public statement of the international community that leaves no room for doubt that Iran has a military weapons program. “Countries cannot remain on the fence about it,” stressed Prosor.

When asked whether he has heard Arab diplomats saying behind closed doors that they support an attack on Iran, Prosor responded with “Yes.”

Dear Israeli Ambassador Prosor: our very expensive bovine excrement meter sucked yet another valve upon reading this article, and re-kitted itself.

I am afraid that the next time this happens, courtesy of a representative of the government of Israel, we will have no other choice but to start billing the Israeli government directly for its very costly repair.

‘Mossad warns Turks of Iranian plan to hit Israelis’

The Mossad has warned Turkey that Israel’s diplomatic missions in the country could be in danger of Iranian “bomb attacks,” Turkish daily Hurriyet reported on Wednesday, citing a story aired on the NTV news channel.

According to the report, the Israeli intelligence agency sent a letter to its Turkish counterpart warning of a plot by the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Quds Force to attack Israeli targets on Turkish soil.

Translation: Mossad is looking at attacking Israeli targets in Turkey, then blaming Iran for the attacks!

Netanyahu’s conspiracy to drag the U.S. to war

‘Sometime between early June and mid-August, just before the Republican nominating convention, will be the ideal moment to drag the United States into war, the planners believe.’

Dual Citizenship — Loyal to Whom?

Before I begin I’d like to day something important. There is a new law — the so-called “Hate Speech” law, that just passed the House and is expected to pass the Senate and become law very soon. It was originally designed to guard against discrimination of oppressed minorities but was soon recognized as a way for Israel to forever end any criticism of the state of Israel and Zionism. When it is law, this page, and many like it will be deleted from the internet as yet another mile marker of the infringement of truth and free speech by certain dual-nationals at the expense of true and patriotic Americans. Enough said.

IOF attacks kill 12 Palestinians, wound 21

Israeli occupation forces (IOF) launched a series of air raids on the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours killing 12 Palestinians and wounding 21 others.

The IOF warplanes bombed a civilian car in Deir Al-Balah in central Gaza at dawn Saturday killing a 26-yerar-old man and injuring four others.

Medical sources earlier said that Ahmed Hajjaj died of his wounds suffered in Friday’s raids.

The PIC reporter said that IOF warplanes blasted a house in Beit Lahia, north of the Gaza Strip, in a pre-dawn raid that killed two members of the Quds Brigades, the armed wing of Islamic Jihad movement.

He said that the warplanes fired a missile at a house north of Gaza city wounding four people including a child.

Netanyahu is throwing a tantrum that he can;t get the US to kill Iranians for him, so he takes it out on the Gazans.

Toll from Israel Gaza strikes now 14 militants

The worst violence between Israel and the Gaza Strip in nearly a year entered its second day on Saturday, as Israeli aircraft killed 14 militants,

according to Palestinian health officials. Militants responded by firing nearly 100 rockets, seriously wounding an Israeli civilian.

The airstrikes and rocket attacks could drag the volatile area into broader conflict especially if a large number of civilians are killed on either side.

U.S. denies Obama promised bunker busters to Netanyahu

President Barack Obama and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu did not discuss in their meetings this week a reported Israeli request for advanced U.S. military technology that could be used against Iran, the White House said on Thursday.
