THOUGHT FOR THE DAY!
“Buying of sound, seasoned issues now will not be regretted” — E. A. Pearce market letter quoted in the New York Herald Tribune, October 30, 1929
Once again, the terror attacks of Muslims which the EU let in with open arms are being used to restrict the freedoms of the right.
The destruction of the evidence “irreparably harmed” the case and “call[s] into question Judge Pohl’s impartiality.”

“A human catastrophe is unfolding in Fallujah. Families are caught in the crossfire with no safe way out,” said Jan Egeland, Secretary General of the Norwegian Refugee Council, one of the organizations helping families displaced form the city.
“For nine days we have heard of only one single family managing to escape from inside the town,’’ he said in a statement on Tuesday. `Warring parties must guarantee civilians safe exit now, before it’s too late and more lives are lost.”
Fallujah is the second-largest Iraqi city still under control of the militants, after Mosul, their de facto capital in the north that had a pre-war population of about 2 million.
Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi announced the assault on Fallujah on May 22 after a spate of bombings that killed more than 150 people in one week in Baghdad, the worst death toll so far this year. A series of bombings claimed by Islamic State also hit Baghdad on Monday, killing over 20 people.
The US government absolutely doesn’t mind bloodbaths, as long as “their side” appears to be winning in foreign countries.
But the reclaiming of Fallujah may well be a Pyrrhic victory for the Iraqi government, at an unbelievably high cost in the slaughter of civilians.
The UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights blamed Russian Aerospace Forces for conducting airstrikes in Idlib, it seems the group has once again spoken out before getting their facts straight as the exact same photo was first used by Al-Jazeera six months ago.
As do George Bush and John Howard……………..KT
The reason for this is simple.
There are two sets of moral and legal standards—one for the elite and their handpicked minions, and another, far more exacting and harsh, for the rest of us, the commoners.
On Saturday, another example reminded us of this double standard.
The so-called Chilcot Inquiry decided former British prime minister Tony Blair will not be investigated for breaking the law when he colluded with George W. Bush and the neocons to invade Iraq and kill over a million people.
A report generated by a committee of Privy Counsellors and led by Sir John Chilcot declared it would “not seek to determine the guilt of innocence of anybody” and will not make “any judgments on the legality or anything like that,” The Sunday Telegraph reports.
Instead, the report focuses on the “decision making behind the conflict and whether any lessons can be learned,” according to The Guardian.
Imagine my (complete absence of) shock here!!
On May 10, the New York Times gently dropped a bombshell on the hedge fund investing world of New York’s one-percenters. Hillary and Bill Clinton’s son-in-law, Marc Mezvinsky, who married their only child, Chelsea, in an opulent 2010 wedding, was shuttering the Eaglevale Hellenic Opportunity Fund after it had lost 90 percent of its value. That is a staggering loss for a hedge fund, which is, as its name implies, supposed to have hedges in place to prevent that kind of loss.
Absoflippinglutely unbelievable, but with people like these money junkies, completely normal behaviour.
SHOPS ARE BEING LOOTED AS VENEZUELA’S CITIZENS, WHO LIVE ON TOP OF THE WORLD’S LARGEST OIL RESERVES, ARE LITERALLY STARVING AND DYING FOR LACK OF FOOD AND MEDICINE; ALL WHILE THE COUNTRY’S GOLD RESERVES ARE BEING SOLD TO FINANCE ITS DEBT. WITH 1.8 MILLION SIGNATURES ON A PETITION FOR A REFERENDUM ON NICOLAS MADURO’S PRESIDENCY, THE COUNTRY IS THREATENING TO BECOME A FAILED STATE.
Venezuela is in crisis…
The 50th anniversary of China’s Cultural Revolution is a reminder of what can happen when all orthodoxy is tossed out the window. Venezuela’s current catastrophe is another: A country that should be rich is suffering the world’s deepest recession, highest inflation, and worst deterioration of social indicators. Its citizens, who live on top of the world’s largest oil reserves, are literally starving and dying for lack of food and medicine.
Yes, the Maduro government did miss the mark on their economic policies. However, there is one issue on which this article is notably silent, and that is the following, as reported last spring at the washingtonpost.com in March of last year:
Lost amid the Iran kerfuffle this week was a curious decision by the Obama administration to declare Venezuela an “extraordinary threat to the national security” of the United States, in order to levy sanctions against individual Venezuelan leaders. he general consensus is that the sanctions strengthen rather than weaken Venezuelan president Nicolás Maduro’s political position. From the New York Times’ William Neumann: Suddenly, the United States is being cast again in the familiar role of the hemispheric bully trying to push around its smaller neighbors. And Mr. Maduro has taken on the mantle of victim, stirring up patriotic support at home, setting the opposition on the defensive and declaring that “we will never kneel before this arrogant empire that attacks and threatens” his country. “The optics of this are really just awful,” said David A. Smilde, a sociology professor at Tulane University who lives part time in Venezuela. “It was a strategic mistake. I think the Maduro government is going to get a lot of play out of this.” So this begs the question: why take a step that gives an authoritarian zombie regime a new lease on life? Obama, it turns out, needs his own diversion right now. Or he will very soon if – and it looks increasingly likely – his administration decides in the coming weeks to remove Cuba from the State Department’s list of international terrorism sponsors.
That move is all but necessary for normalizing relations with the communist island. But it won’t sit well with U.S. conservatives, especially the Cuban-American congressional caucus, who will call the terrorism-list concession more proof that Obama is a foreign policy weakling who likes getting sand kicked in his face by the Castro regime.
Which is why Obama needs to flex his own beach brawn – and he’s betting that playing hardball with Venezuela will blunt the impending Beltway condemnation on Cuba.
So what President Obama did was to sanction Venezuela…in order to get a political buyoff on normalizing relations with Cuba.
Fast forward to this summer, and you have an absolutely miserable mess in Venezuela. And although the US sanctions against it were not the only culprits in creating this condition, they certainly have not helped.
How or when Maduro will decide – or be forced – to step down is, apparently, only a matter of time. It will depend on both the attitude of military toward Maduro, and what kind of conversations the Maduro government has – and will have – with the opposition leaders.
And you can bet your sweet bippy that many of those in DC are anxiously awaiting for a more “US-Centric government” to come to power when Maduro leaves.
The Israeli Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan has unveiled plans to censor the Internet’s worldwide social media platforms with the building of an “international coalition” to counter criticism of Israel.
Israel proves once again they are the enemy of the First Amendment! On that one point alone they should receive no more of our tax money.
Last Thursday May 26, 2016, Mike Rivero of WhatReallyHappened.com interviewed attorney Allan J. Favish on the Vincent foster case. The two have a very interesting discussion covering many interesting and little-known aspects of this case. Favish sued the U.S. government in the 1990s and it went all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court. He sought the release of “photographs taken by the Government as part of its investigation into the death of President Bill Clinton’s Deputy White House Counsel Vincent Foster. On March 30, 2004, the United States Supreme Court issued its opinion in the case entitled National Archives and Records Administration v. Allan J. Favish.” Foster was “suicided” on July 20, 1993 and the issue is relevant today, particularly because of arch-criminal Hillary Clinton’s bid for the presidency.
Thousands of Italians have taken to the streets of Rome and several other major cities to express their resentment with the austerity policies imposed by the government of Prime Minister Matteo Renzi.
During the Saturday anti-austerity rallies, the demonstrators, mostly students and activists, chanted slogans against the government and accused the premier of triggering a war on the poor people.
The riot police also scuffled with protesters and apprehended a number of them, while others burnt flares and hurled eggs at the police.

The European Commission had been keeping the plans in a sealed room, which could only be entered by a small number of EU political and security committee ambassadors, leaving all electronics at the door.
However, one individual managed to take notes and leak them to The Times. It was revealed that in terms of how the EU functions, “security and defence [are] where a step change is most urgent”.
Federica Mogherini, head of foreign policy in the EU, has allegedly spent years preparing the plans, conveniently due to be discussed by EU leaders just one week after Britain’s referendum.
The plans will, of course, be seen as a major power grab, and an incursion on national sovereignty and the effectiveness of NATO in the lead up to the Brexit vote – thus the secrecy.
The UK vetoed similar proposals in 2011, and David Cameron and the Ministry of Defence (MoD) continue to deny an EU army is possible.
A short memo to Ms. Federica Mogherini; in the words of my late grandmother., “the horse is already out of the barn”, so PLEASE, cut the bovine excrement and tell the truth to the British people.
In making the decision about the Brexit next month, they need, and deserve, to be fully informed of what the EU is planning.
IF you don’t think Brits can handle the truth, perhaps you really need to resign from your position, and right the heck now.
A number of companies in the United States are training foreign law enforcement and intelligence officials to code their own surveillance tools. In many cases these tools are able to circumvent security measures like encryption. Some countries are using them to watch dissidents. Others are using them to aggressively silence and punish their critics, inside and outside their borders.
“There’s no substantial regulation,” said Bill Marczak, a senior fellow at the Citizen Lab at the University of Toronto’s Munk School of Global Affairs, who has been tracking the spread of spyware around the globe. “Any government who wants spyware can buy it outright or hire someone to develop it for you. And when we see the poorest countries deploying spyware, it’s clear money is no longer a barrier.”
This is a menacing trend, and one which I do not see getting any better soon.
But intelligent people need to be made to understand that you never blog, email, or communicate with your cell phones, unless that communication is absolutely vanilla, because despotic governments (including that of the US) will use anything you type or say against you, to further and perpetuate their own ends.
Jesus Christ would be banned from speaking at universities if he was alive in 2016 along with other ‘non-violent extremists’, a leading Oxford professor warned yesterday.
Professor Timothy Garton Ash complained that Britain has become ‘too feeble’ at supporting free speech and insisted that the public must stand up against self-censorship.
We are dealing with a criminal undertaking at a global level…The global war on terrorism…is fake, it’s based on fake premises. It tells us that somehow America and the Western world are going after a fictitious enemy, the Islamic state, when in fact the Islamic state is fully supported and financed by the Western military alliance and America’s allies in the Persian Gulf. They say Muslims are terrorists…they’re not the product of Muslim society, and that should be abundantly clear…The global war on terrorism is a fabrication, a big lie and a crime against humanity.
Britain’s energy bills will be slashed by £2 billion a year if voters back Brexit because it would allow ministers to scrap the ‘unfair’ VAT tax on gas and electricity, Leave campaigners claimed today.

ver the weekend, a writer for the liberal Huffington Post reported that the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) will pursue a criminal indictment against Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.
Frank Hugenard, a scientist, public speaker and freelance contributor, had his report removed by HuffPo editors and his account disabled without explanation. The piece was entitled, ““Hillary Clinton to be Indicted On Federal Racketeering Charges” and it quickly went viral before being removed.
Huguenard, who seems to support Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT), claims to have sources within the FBI who say the agency will recommend racketeering charges against Hillary.

Abeer Qassim al-Janabi, was a 14-year-old girl who was gang-raped by U.S. Soldiers while they killed her family before ending her life. It was all pre-meditated, and they targeted her because there was only one male living in that house.
“During the time me and Barker were raping Abeer, I heard five or six gunshots that came from the bedroom,” Sgt. Paul Cortez admitted, “After Barker was done, Green came out of the bedroom and said that he had killed them all, that all of them were dead.”
“Green then placed himself between Abeer’s legs to rape her,” he added, “When Green was finished, he stood up and shot Abeer in the head two or three times.”
The entire crime took about five minutes and the girl knew her parents and sister had been shot while she was being raped.
A second opinion poll today has revealed a huge surge in support for the Brexit campaign, with the Leave campaign up seven points on two weeks ago.
The ICM telephone survey revealed a four point Brexit lead. It was released hours after a poll by ORB also showed Vote Leave closing the gap.
The ICM phone poll suggested a 14-point reversal as, once ‘don’t knows’ were excluded, Brexit was ahead 52-48 – compared to a Remain lead of 55-45 two weeks ago.
Facebook is listening in on people’s conversations all of the time, an expert has claimed.
The app is using people’s phones to gather data on what they are talking about, it has been claimed.
Facebook says that its app does listen to what’s happening around it, but only as a way of seeing what people are listening to or watching and suggesting that they post about it.
The European Commission has today announced a partnership with Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Microsoft in order to crack down on what it classes as “illegal hate speech” while “criminaliz[ing]” perpetrators and “promoting independent counter-narratives” that the European Union favours. A press release from the Commission this morning claims the new initiative has been set up “to respond to the challenge of ensuring that online platforms do not offer opportunities for illegal online hate speech to spread virally”. The move has been branded “Orwellian” by Members of the European Parliament, and digital freedom groups have already pulled out of any further discussions with the Commission, calling the new policy “lamentable”.
All the laptops come with automatic updaters developed by the computer’s manufacturer to update system drivers or the BIOs, as well as the bloatware, and the researchers discovered that every single manufacturer’s updater had security vulnerabilities that put millions of consumers at risk.
If you’re Samsung and you want to wring additional cash out of your television business, what do you do? Add annoying advertisements to TVs that people already have in their homes, apparently. The Wall Street Journal reports that Samsung is readying the European expansion of an initiative it started in the United States last June: adding interactive advertisements to the menu bars of its high-end smart TVs. The impact isn’t going to be limited just to customers buying new Samsung televisions, either, as the company reportedly plans to use software updates to retroactively bring the ads to older models that people already have in their homes.
The families of slain British soldiers might sue former UK PM Tony Blair if evidence suggests the equipment provided to the troops during the Iraq War was inadequate, Roger Bacon, father of an army serviceman killed in a roadside bomb blast, told RT.
Samsung is advising customers against succumbing to Microsoft’s nagging and installing Windows 10.
The consumer electronics giant’s support staff have admitted drivers for its PCs still don’t work with Microsoft’s newest operating system and told customers they should simply not make the upgrade.
That’s nearly a year after Microsoft released Windows 10 and with a month to go until its successor – Windows 10 Anniversary Update – lands.
Former US Attorney General Eric Holder has praised former National Security Agency (NSA) contractor Edward Snowden, saying he performed a valuable “public service” by leaking surveillance programs.
Some other flunky Republican-as-3rd-Party candidate would simply take votes from Trump, making it more likely that Clinton would win. These guys don’t think that their candidate will have a snowball’s chance in Hell of winning.
In other words, these Republicans would rather have Clinton for President than Trump, and they’re working to make that happen.
And if some vote fraud happens on election day… *meh* I guess the 3rd party candidate took some votes away from the Donald.
If Trump’s attorneys ever gave him the same quality of legal service that Fiske and Starr gave to the American people, I suspect that Trump would say: “Your Fired!” Instead of being condemned by people ignorant of the details of the Foster death, Trump should be applauded for having the political courage to say what is obvious to those who have studied the evidence, when so many others are afraid to do so. Donald Trump should use his unique opportunity to encourage the media to examine the important facts of this case with accuracy and thoroughness, and to challenge those who merely parrot the government’s position. Trump should not retreat from his position until somebody can provide plausible and satisfactory answers to the questions raised by the facts discussed in this article.
Prior to the attacks of September 11, 2001, the outright decimation of Black Wall Street, also known as Little Africa — which began the evening of May 31, 1921, and didn’t end until the following afternoon — had been considered the worst act of terrorism on U.S. soil and the worst civil disturbance since the Civil War. Unfortunately, now 95 years later, the tragic annihilation of an entire neighborhood has almost been lost to the passing of time — indeed, the insufficiently-named “Tulsa Riots” have almost wholly vanished from school curriculae outside Oklahoma…

The head of Polish diplomacy Witold Vaš?ikovski rejected the allegation that Vladimir Putin will have to do something regarding the US missile defense shield in Romania and Poland.
According Vaš?ikovskog, Poland, Russia repeatedly threatened for years, and anti-missile shield is only Polish response to the aggressive attempts of Russia to radically rewrite the architecture of security in Europe.
“The threats we suggest years. Just shield the answer, the American presence is the answer. It’s not that there’s something we decide what suits Russia. Russia is the one that changes the character of international relations, Russia is seeking to rewrite the architecture of security in Europe. We respond to the aggressive actions of Russia “, said today Vaš?ikovski Polish private television TVN24.
On Memorial Day, politicians will speak at ceremonies all over the country and repeat their favorite mantra: “Support the troops.”
This pledge is hammered into the American psyche at every turn. But there is a hidden, dark history that shows that the politicians are in fact no friend to service members — but their greatest enemy.

These protests were of course organized by Soros. I stick with this statement, because we as the electorate have paid for a so-called color revolution. Such color revolutions started, as you know, in North Africa. We know what then happened in Egypt, Algeria, Morocco, and Libya. This organization, this so-called, self-proclaimed “open society organization” organized the protests in Macedonia. They have followed the same scenario as in Ukraine. As I said before, Nikola Gruevski was a very smart prime minister, since he decided to resign after so many messages from the so-called international community which warned: “If you want to join NATO, you have to change the name of your country.” Greece is the reason why this has been forced upon us. In the meanwhile, we can be an EU member, and Macedonia has done a lot in the past 10 years, reaching a high position as the country of Macedonia.

Changing US Democrats’ traditional proclivity for Israel despite all the crimes the regime commits against humanity needs some candidate “with ethics” like Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders, says a Washington-based author.
The Democratic candidate, running against pro-Israel Hilary Clinton, recently spoke of an “evenhanded” treatment of Palestinians in the US politics, gripped with a penchant for Tel Aviv.
Just last week we reported that Wells Fargo was reintroducing 3% down mortgages on its own, without going through the FHA. The reason we said, was that due to Wells’ mortgage origination pipeline drying up, the bank was desperate to find new and innovative ways to boost lending.
I will tell you how to boost lending.

Many constitutional experts believe that Britain isn’t actually a member of the European Union since our apparent entry was in violation of British law and was, therefore invalid.
It seems barely a day passes now without some big name person warning of imminent collapse. The latest is Alan Greenspan.
In an interview on Thursday he told Fox News that Venezuela is now under martial law and that “America is next.” He said that what was happening in Venezuela was inevitably going to take place in the US.

Yesterday, some 200 former top Israeli military and other security officials issued a policy paper proposing making peace with the Palestinians, including concessions that even the “center-left” political opposition would never dare to articulate.
This is just the latest salvo in a growing war of words between an Israel that is shifting dramatically rightward, and a military that not only isn’t going along for the ride, but increasingly willing, past and present, to dissent from the nationalist line.
The attack saw a 300-strong mob torch Christian houses and strip the 70-year-old woman naked as she was dragged along the street. It followed allegations that a Christian man – thought to be the woman’s son – and a Muslim woman were involved in an relationship.

On paper the story seems both simple and innocuous: early last week Netanyahu announced that his brother, Ido, had taken a D.N.A. test, according to which the Netanyahu family can actually trace its roots back to Spain. Thus, Netanyahu implied, Israel finally had its own (at least partially) Sephardic prime minister.

U.S. Internet giants Facebook Inc., Twitter Inc., Google and Microsoft Corp. pledged to tackle online hate speech in less than 24 hours as part of a joint commitment with the European Union to combat the use of social media by terrorists.
Beyond national laws that criminalize hate speech, there is a need to ensure such activity by Internet users is “expeditiously reviewed by online intermediaries and social media platforms, upon receipt of a valid notification, in an appropriate time-frame,” the companies and the European Commission said in a joint statement on Tuesday.

The strongest evidence linking the alleged hijackers to 9/11 was a video said to be from the closed circuit TV (CCTV) system at Dulles International Airport in Washington DC. The video was not made available until the day before the 9/11 Commission Report was released, in 2004, and it helped to pave the way for widespread acceptance of the official account. Since the other evidence against the accused hijackers was dubious and suspiciously convenient for the FBI, which provided it, the Dulles video should be examined closely.
Doing so has led some independent 9/11 investigators to conclude that the Dulles video contains “no information to link its images to AA 77.” Reasons include that:
None of the Dulles airport staff remembered seeing the alleged hijackers at the airport
Dulles had over 300 cameras but no footage was released except for portions of this one video (and no video was available from the other airports)
The alleged Dulles video contains no date, time stamp, or camera identification
The video was shot at a rate of 30 frames per second (fps), which the investigators said is not typical of CCTV videos
The video appears to be an edited composite of shots taken from different angles

Our nation’s memorials for our war dead are been vandalized, destroyed and looted all over the country.
A Memorial Day field of crosses was run over by a 27-year-old African-American man, a Vietnam memorial was vandalized and tagged, the Cedar Falls Freedom Rock was similarly spray painted and Petersburg National Battlefield was looted of a host of historical artifacts.
Is this all just random vandalism or is BLM and the Reconquista Movement stepping up their attacks?
