THOUGHT FOR THE DAY!
“There is a distinction between a ‘debt discharged’ and a debt ‘paid’. When discharged, the debt still exists though divested of it’s charter as a legal obligation during the operation of the discharge, something of the original vitality of the debt continues to exist, which may be transferred, even though the transferee takes it subject to it’s disability incident to the discharge.” –Stanek vs. White, 172 Minn.390, 215 N.W. 784
They were the nuclear guinea pigs of the Cold War.
And this is the shocking film to show how U.S. Marines were used in hundreds of experiments by the US military to test the limits of nuclear bombs between 1951 and 1957.
During many of those tests, soldiers who thought of themselves as ‘ground grunts’ and were sworn to secrecy witnessed the atomic explosions first-hand, and from close range, before the devastating health risks of those bombs were fully understood.
The US Government did in fact know the health risks due to accidents that happened during the development of the bomb.
A key figure in Brazil’s interim government has resigned after explosive new transcripts revealed how he plotted to oust President Dilma Rousseff in order to end a corruption investigation that was targeting him. The transcripts, published by Brazil’s largest newspaper, Folha de São Paulo, document a conversation in March, just weeks before Brazil’s lower house voted in favor of impeaching President Rousseff. Romero Jucá, who was then a senator but became a planning minister after Rousseff’s ouster, was speaking with a former oil executive, Sérgio Machado. Both men had been targets of the so-called Car Wash investigation over money laundering and corruption at the state-controlled oil firm Petrobras.
Barium is a silvery heavy metal that is toxic to mammals. It is also found in another practice that happens without any consultation of the people – geoengineering, aka chemtrails in the sky, spewed out of extra jet exhausts placed on the jet. Now it appears that both sky and earth are deliberately saturated in barium – crops and water.
Since Barium is never found in nature as a free element – due to its high chemcial reactivity – the following results of a new study are startling indeed…
I have often asked rhetorically whether the government works for us or we work for the government. The answer to this inquiry is obvious. It is only a fiction that the government works for us. Yet fear of the consequences of government lying should terrify anyone who believes in the rule of law and fair play. Those consequences can be as contagious as government lawbreaking.
As an alternative of going through the typical model, Microsoft’s intended new release of Windows 10 could use subscription-based model. As hinted by Microsoft that Windows 10 is going to release next year, a subscription model can allow people to buy the agreement where they have to pay a certain amount of money every month to keep on using the windows and can enjoy updates for free. Another way this subscription model can be implemented is by giving away the basic version to everyone for free and then charging for any extra feature that the consumer use.
“The citizens of Israel should be worried about a rightist coalition that will bring Israel to very dangerous places,” said opposition leader Isaac Herzog at an event Wednesday hosted by the Israel Democracy Institute, according to The Times of Israel.
Deadly candle fires have occurred repeatedly since Israel imposed the siege in 2006. Since 2010, 29 Palestinians, mostly children, have died in home fires.
The U.S. government [after years of inactivity, except the material and logistic support to the terrorist gangs who are fighting in Iraq & Syria], now that the Russian Air Force, the Syrian Army and its allies are at the gates of Raqqa, shows off the muscles to support some of the Kurdish factions to consolidate a territorial division of the future Syria…already planned a long time ago…
Today marks six weeks since nearly 40,000 Verizon workers went on strike along the East Coast, from Massachusetts to Virginia, marking one of the biggest U.S. strikes in years.
Time and again, an 89-year old man in Bruck gave three teenagers euro coins – and this is how they thanked him: One of them lured the infirm elderly man out of the house, the other kept watch, the third one searched the rooms for money. The theft failed thanks to a brave neighbor.

Britain’s ability to control its borders has taken centre stage in the EU referendum battle after new figures showed net annual migration running at 333,000.
The level is the second highest ever and more than triple David Cameron’s target. The numbers coming from the EU equalled their previous record at 184,000 and made up nearly half the total.
At the Tech Crunch conference on May 12, former NSA Director Michael Hayden discussed the Clinton email controversy calling it a catastrophe for national security.
Here’s the astounding clip for anyone who hasn’t seen this…
Leaked minutes of a meeting in Brussels suggest Downing Street is trying to fast-track an EU-Canada trade deal that will allow corporations to sue national governments in secret courts without parliamentary consent.
The Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) is free trade deal between Canada and Europe, which shares many traits with the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) deal being brokered between the EU and US.
Campaigners warn CETA, which has been finalized but not ratified, would pave the way for a “corporate power grab,” while undercutting vital legislation put in place to protect workers’ rights, the environment and consumer safety.
Two of the US Navy’s F/A-18 Super Hornet fighter jets have crashed off the coast of North Carolina on Thursday, the US Coast Guard confirmed. Their crews have been recovered and taken to a hospital.
It had been 13 years since Broaddrick’s horrific encounter in a Little Rock, Arkansas hotel room when, in 1991, she found herself back in the state capitol for a seminar of nursing home administrators. She says she was told someone needed to speak with her in the hallway of the building where the event was being held. “Just as I went around the corner, there he was. And it was very shocking to me,” she said.
“And he came over to me and started apologizing profusely for what he had done to me back in 1978, and was just saying all these things — and I was just flabbergasted. And he kept saying, ‘I’m a changed man’ and ‘I have a family’ and ‘I’m just not that person that I used to be.’”
She says less than a week after her attacker apologized, he announced he was running for president.
In the rape case, Hillary completely trashed the character of the victim, accusing her of fantasizing about older men and exaggerating her rape. It’s really disgusting. And yet, now she wants everyone to believe that she’s this great defender of women’s rights!!
The number of American adolescents with marijuana-related issues is declining, a new survey has found as more US states legalise the drug.
Researchers from the Washington University School of Medicine examined drug use data of more than 216,000 adolescents between the age of 12 and 17 across all 50 states.
The number becoming dependent on cannabis, having trouble at school or in relationships has dropped by 24 per cent between 2002 to 2013.
The following video features Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton acknowledging that America created and funded Al Qaeda as a terrorist organization in the heyday of the Soviet-Afghan war:
““Let’s remember here… the people we are fighting today we funded them twenty years ago
… let’s go recruit these mujahideen.
“And great, let them come from Saudi Arabia and other countries, importing their Wahabi brand of Islam so that we can go beat the Soviet Union.”
According to a professor at the University of Warwick in England, parents who read to their kids should be thinking about how they’re “unfairly disadvantaging other people’s children” by doing so.
How about suggesting that parents who don’t read to their children start doing so?
While international bureaucrats enjoy tax-free salaries, they never tire of trying to raise taxes on everyone else.
Evidence in a child pornography trial has been thrown out because the US government refuses to detail how it hacked the website allegedly visited by the defendant.
Webmaster addition: My guess is that the FBI was running the site!
Bank customers may be obliged to bear the bill for fraud against their accounts, under proposed changes under consideration between banks, the UK government and GCHQ.
Under the plans, individuals or companies with poor online security could be “frozen out of banking services or even excluded from the system whereby banks compensate customers whose accounts are hacked”, the Financial Times reports.
UK banks – unlike those in the US – routinely cover the costs of online fraud, at least in cases where customer negligence (such as sharing PIN codes or cards with third parties) is excluded. Pushing the burden of fraudulent losses towards customers is likely to be hugely controversial.
Clearly, Trump is accusing the Mexican ruling class—the politicians and billionaires like Carlos Slim, the largest single shareholder of The New York Times—of dumping their surplus population on the United States.
That Mexico’s elites are outmaneuvering America’s leaders strikes Trump as a bad thing. Yet, to the American media, the very existence of a Mexican ruling caste with interests different from those of American citizens doesn’t seem to register as a concept with which they are able to deal. Sure, Mexico is a country of over 120 million people that shares a 1,950-mile border with the U.S., but it’s not, you know, Israel when it comes to being important to American interests.
Norwegians voted ‘no’ to the EU in a heated referendum in 1994 – and we are not regretting it.
Quite the opposite.
In last year’s National Defense Authorization Act, Congress cut benefits to veterans by increasing co-pays for prescriptions. According to the Congressional Budget Office, the increased co-pays saved the federal government approximately $1.5 billion. (See CBO Estimate FY2016 NDAA) However, it now appears that $336 million generated from the veterans’ cuts was used to pay for 3,000 additional Afghan interpreters to be resettled in the United States. (The Daily Caller News Foundation, May 16, 2016)
There are over 60,000 U.S. veterans who served in the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan who are now sick and dying. But the Pentagon denies there is such a health crisis, and the Department of Veterans Affairs is denying these suffering men and women the benefits they desperately need and deserve.
But she has not been completely cleared in the investigation over her authorisation of a controversial out-of-court settlement for the maverick French businessman Bernard Tapie when she was finance minister under Nicolas Sarkozy.
Instead, Lagarde has been placed under the status of “supervised witness”. In French legal terms, this is less serious than being placed under formal investigation. It means that in any future hearings she will have to answer questions as a witness with her lawyer. She could technically still be charged later if judges change their minds.
“The reason for this conformity among journalists is simple: If you repeat the conventional wisdom, you might find yourself with a lucrative gig as a big-shot foreign correspondent, a regular TV talking head, or a “visiting scholar” at a major think tank.”
That’s why we call them presstitutes and whorespondents!
Karma is coming for the elite in a big way. As the Powers That Be head toward a devastating defeat in their war plans for Syria, signs are emerging that their rule over humanity is rapidly diminishing.
According to Seymour Hersh, the original plan of the Obama Administration regarding the disclosure of the execution of Osama bin Laden to the press was that he had been killed in a drone strike in the Hindu Kush mountains on the Afghan side of the border. But things didn’t go as planned during the operation as a Black Hawk helicopter crashed in Bin Laden’s Abbottabad compound and the whole town now knew that an operation was underway.
Webmaster addition: Except that the real Osama bin Laden died of Marfan Syndrome in late 2001, and someone else was killed at Abbottabad and claimed to be him.
As riots, strikes and protests sweep across France, ostensibly driven by a revolt against new labour laws introduced by the Government’s labour reform bill, we ask if we are seeing the escalation of the chaos strategy designed to create unrest and divide social movements, thus undermining any genuine grass-roots organisation against the ever extending “state of emergency”.
Or are we seeing the start of a global revolution against the money-junkies?
Former military leaders have rallied in favor of a British exit from the EU, citing the perils of allowing Brussels to run the country.
Senior military figures have spoken for and against the EU over the course of the campaign. The latest intervention saw no less than 12 former officers call for a Brexit.
The deadly-but-forgotten government gun-running scandal known as “Fast and Furious” has lain dormant for years, thanks to White House stonewalling and media compliance. But newly uncovered emails have reopened the case, exposing the anatomy of a coverup by an administration that promised to be the most transparent in history.
A federal judge has forced the release of more than 20,000 pages of emails and memos previously locked up under President Obama’s phony executive-privilege claim. A preliminary review shows top Obama officials deliberately obstructing congressional probes into the border gun-running operation.
The witness told me that Ros-Lehtinen vowed to destroy the mounting grassroots BDS campaign to boycott, divest from and sanction Israel. To do so, she pledged to weaken the First Amendment. “Free speech is being used in our country to denigrate Israel and we need to actively fight against that,” Ros-Lehtinen declared, according to the source.
Venezuela’s gold reserves have plunged to their lowest level on record after it sold $1.7 billion of the precious metal in the first quarter of the year to repay debts, reports FT. The country’s gold reserves have dropped almost a third over the past year and it sold over 40 tons in February and March, according to IMF data.
Peruvian President Ollanta Humala has declared a 60-day state of emergency in a large remote area of the Amazon jungle as levels of mercury from illegal gold mining have reached record high levels. According to country’s environment minister, as many as 50,000 people or 41% of the population of the gold-rich Madre de Dios region, bordering Brazil, has been exposed to mercury contamination.

The Spanish-American War in 1898 had US warfare in the Philippines and Cuba. Hawaii’s position as a naval base in the middle of the Pacific Ocean made the unlawful annexation of Hawaii a crime with apparent strong motivation.
The US unilaterally claimed sovereign military authority in the Philippines after the Spanish-American War in 1898. Philippine leadership claimed the US promised independence on multiple occasions and reneged. Emilio Aguinaldo, the Philippine’s first president and leader of their revolution against Spanish imperialism:
“In reply, the [US] Consul said he would telegraph about this matter to Admiral Dewey, who was, he said, Commander-in-Chief of the squadron which would invade the Philippines, and who had, he also stated, full powers conferred on him by President McKinley.
Following strikes over the unpopular French labor reform, that started over the weekend and crippled the French refining industry leading to gasoline shortages and rationing
Maybe they use the ’80s flick “War Games” as a training film, too?!
Spain’s Second Biggest Bank: “Europe is caught in a trap, It has to do something to boost its growth potential. But expansive monetary policy has led to negative interest rates, which are killing us.”
Fracking America is a fact-based overview of the issues surrounding the natural gas industry and fracking. Although it focuses upon the Marcellus Shale, it looks at cases and issues in other parts of the country. The book is not meant to be a comprehensive analysis of the science and engineering of the process to extract natural gas nor an extensive discussion of the economic, health, environmental, and political issues. It is meant as a basic reference to acquaint people with the issues, with the hope they will dig deeper into areas that directly concern them and rally their friends and neighbors to help protect the health and environment of the people, wildlife, and natural vegetation.
Angela Eagle, the shadow business secretary, accused the Chancellor of being ‘far too satisfied’ with ‘his cosy little tax deal,’ which he hailed as a ‘major success’ for the UK taxpayer earlier this year – despite the firm only paying HMRC £130 million for 10 years of back taxes.
And Meg Hillier, chair of the Commons public accounts committee, said MPs are demanding to know whether HMRC has requested evidence from the French police that led to yesterday’s raid.
Pure Insanity: There Is So Much Debt In The System, And These Governments Are All So Absurdly Bankrupt, That Congress Proposed A Special Law To Make Sure They Get To Steal 100% Of The Money That The Federal Reserve Is Conjuring Out Of Thin Air All For The
President Obama and first lady Michelle Obama have leased a spectacular 8,200 square-foot home in one of DC’s most elegant neighborhoods as their first post-White House dwelling.
The $4.3 million home features plenty of room for the Obamas to stretch out – with separate dressing rooms and his and her bathrooms, entertaining space, and a tranquil garden.
The home was built in 1928 and features nine bedrooms and eight and a half baths, according to Politico, which first reported the address.

Television viewers may have to sit through even more adverts after Brussels said it would scrap rules limiting the length of breaks in shows.
The European Commission yesterday revealed it wants to dump restrictions preventing channels showing more than 12 minutes of commercials each hour.
Officials also want to loosen rules restricting product placement to allow more in-your-face American-style brand promotion.
The Department of Veterans Affairs admitted it wrongly declared more than 4,000 veterans dead over the past five years, cutting off benefits for them and their dependents.
The agency disclosed that it wrongly terminated benefits for 4,201 veterans between 2011 and 2015 in a letter to Rep. David Jolly (R., Fla.) this month. The admission came more than six months after Jolly initially requested information on veterans whose VA benefits had been erroneously cut off following a series of mistaken death cases by the VA in the Tampa Bay area.
More than 1,000 veterans had their benefits disrupted in 2015 alone when the VA erroneously declared them deceased.
