The suffocation of unsustainable global debt – Total global debt is now over $190 trillion and more than three times global GDP. Contagion with European Union.
Today the global debt to GDP ratio is over 300 percent. You will notice that as the crisis hit in 2007 GDP actually fell but total debt kept going up. Much of the price discovery is being shouldered by the citizens of each of these countries. The financial sector especially with the too big to fail has been sheltered at all costs.
Yet peak debt is hitting hard across the global markets even here in the US where our total debt just seems to keep going up and up. Those that don’t bother shopping might say inflation is not bad but the average American with a $25,000 paycheck is feeling the pinch more and more each day.
Occupy. Still Here. Still Free. #M17 marks six months of American occupation and raising of social consciousness. Tents are a medium of expression, nodes for social services. We have so much yet to communicate, so much yet to give. When you’re ready, we’ll still be here; we’ll still be free.

Egging has long been a favoured form of messy political protest – but in this case the addition of yoghurt gave the stunt a uniquely Greek flavour.
News anchor Panagiotis Bourchas was left dripping in the stuff after protesters rushed his studio during a live broadcast, bombarding him with volley after volley of food.
Viewers in Greece watched as his show – captured in the video below – ground to a halt as the mob burst in shortly after 9pm on Friday.
President Obama can cut gasoline prices by one third. On any Sunday night while the markets are closed he can announce the following: I have decided to tone down the confrontation with Iran as it does not accomplish anything for America but does indeed harm American consumers by gouging them 2.5 billion dollars a week in higher gasoline prices… I will ban Commodity Index Swaps and Synthetic Exchange Traded Funds. Additionally, I will order Gary Gensler, the Chairman of the Commodities Futures Trading Commissions, to double the margin requirement on oil futures. If that does not work, I will double the margin requirements again.
Apple paid a paltry £10million in UK corporation tax in the last financial year, despite earning an estimated £6billion in the country over the period.
It is the latest technology firm to be accused of avoiding UK tax, following Amazon and Google.
Millions of householders who want to build a conservatory, replace a broken boiler or install new windows will be forced to spend hundreds of pounds more on ‘green’ projects.
They will not be permitted to carry out the home improvement or repair unless they agree to fork out for measures such as loft or wall insulation.
The work is expected to add ten per cent to the cost of any building project in the home.
Those who do not have the money will have to borrow it under the Coalition’s Green Deal – and pay it back for years through an extra charge on their energy bills.
“This is my daughter. She gave this speech at a businees meeting in front of 600 people. Her eyes have been opened to a scam that is being perpetrated upon Canadians and the rest of the world.”
