We’re still waiting for any actual evidence that this new cybersecurity bill is really necessary. An actual description of the real problem being dealt with would be a good start. Instead, we just get pure fear mongering. While some Senators are asking supporters of the bill to slow down and carefully consider the issue, the bill’s backers, led by Senator Lieberman seem to be on “full speed ahead” mode — trying to skip hearings and markups to take the bill straight to the Senate floor for a vote.
As the manic huckster Barack Obama travels the country raising almost 30 million a month for his re-election while campaigning on an old and badly tattered theme of hope and change that is just over the hill ~ millions of economically distressed Americans are saying “Are you kidding me“ and are rightfully refusing to be Obamanized:
There is no platform. Words are all that matter.
Like a 50-year-old boxer trying to stay on his feet and earn a split decision in the 15th round, the antiquated GOP can offer no good candidates because there are no good candidates in a party of “free-market” repeaters that has been duped and used as a tool by the banker constructors of the current neo-liberal economic insanity.
Do you remember the second terms under President William Jefferson Clinton and George Walker Bush? Even the most rabid partisans cannot say with a straight face that memorable government came during their last four years.
Now the nation suffers from the Obama malaise that rivals the Jimmy Carter debacle. The dependency culture, especially in the post 911 incarnations, adjusted to the heavy hand of government omnipotence to accept the next level of political excess.
Recent polls suggest that the enlightened voters of the nanny state are prepared to cast their ballot to give Barry Soetoro another term.
Adam Kokesh is a member of Iraq Veterans Against the War, and along with Nathan Cox, co-founded Veterans for Ron Paul. He and Mr. Cox are organizing a march on the White House next week with the theme “Ron Paul is the Choice of the Troops”.
Catching up with Adam and he was gracious enough to answer questions about the march, Ron Paul’s foreign policy, and Veterans for Ron Paul.
The Obama administration has recently asked Congress to budget $99.8 million for Israel’s defense systems in 2013, a $6 million cut compared to 2012’s $106.1 million. However, the $6 million cut is only a small part of the overall $700 million cut in the US missile defense development program.
In spite of the cut, the overall security aid to Israel will be increased in 2013 by $250 million, reaching $3.1 billion according to the US-Israel security aid agreement.
To characterize Israel as “weak” from a standpoint of defense and security is disingenuous in the extreme. Israel is bristling with nuclear weapons, and numerous other weapons systems.
Israel’s problem has been a succession of hubristic governments, which collectively have believed that there is no sacrifice of American blood and American money which is too great to achieve the ultimate goal of Israeli hegemony in the Middle East.
As our homeless Vets sleep in our streets, unable to get the care and attention they deserve and desperately need; while US infrastructure crumbles before our very eyes; and while our public schools go from bad to worse to merely “pre-prison”environments for our children, it is high time for a re-think on how intensely the US government should be showering its military and financial largesse on the needs and concerns of a foreign government, over and above the real needs and concerns of We the People.
The Secret Team, L. Fletcher Prouty’s exposé of the CIA’s control over the government was first published in the 1970s. However, virtually all copies of the book disappeared upon distribution, having been purchased en masse by shady “private buyers.” Certainly, Prouty’s allegations such as how the U2 Crisis of 1960 was fixed to sabotage the Eisenhower – Khrushchev talk cannot have pleased the CIA.
The horrors of the nuclear age, in terms of exploding reactors and nuclear bombs, are well known. Behind the well-publicized threat of mass death lies a secret history of nuclear projects being used to destroy individuals. In the late 1940s, United States citizens were injected with plutonium without their knowledge.
THIS WAS SENT TO ME ON FACEBOOK AND I DECIDED TO PUT IT TOGETHER INTO AN ARTICLE FOR YOU ALL TO SEE. THE SOLDIER (COMBAT VETERAN) WHO IS SPEAKING TO THE TSA GOON OBVIOUSLY KNOWS THIS IS SECURITY THEATER AND IN NO WAY MAKES ANYONE SAFER AND THE TSA GOON CAN’T COMPREHEND IT WHEN IT IS POINTED OUT TO HIM.
Michelle Obama has embarked on a skiing vacation with her daughters in Aspen, Colorado, according to the Aspen Daily News. The first lady, who just returned last month from 17 days of relaxation in Hawaii, is skiing in Colorado on Presidents’ Day Weekend for the second year in a row.
Last year she went to Vail. Michelle’s decision to ski out West again instead of hitting slopes closer to Washington would seem an inopportune choice for a first lady who is helping her husband campaign on issues of “fairness.” The Obama campaign has set itself up as the defender of the poor and the middle class against the “One Percent,” a theme which clashes with the image a first lady who is taking frequent and exclusive vacations.
From about 14:15 on he really gets on a roll.
The Joker: [over the PA] Tonight you’re all gonna be part of a social experiment. Through the magic of diesel fuel and ammonium nitrate, I’m ready right now to blow you all sky high. A war of words between nations eventually leads to a real war. The war can be fought either by proxy or for real; it can happen by accident or on purpose. The point is that irresponsible rhetoric is a precursor to irresponsible action. Fear-based talking points used by the media and politicians prepare the public mind for unnecessary wars and catastrophic bloodshed.
“The President just got in there. But in four years, will we still like him? In eight years, are we gonna still hype him? What if he says we’ve gotta go into Iran and kill a million people? Will you still be down with the man? You’d better wake up and smell the coffee.
This is why the radio station don’t toss me. Me–and I’m on the microphone–I stand with people like Alex Jones. This is the truth I’m down with. I’ve never been about no fuckin’ government. I do for myself; speak for myself. Teach myself; reach for myself. Hip hop, you gotta do the same thing. Listen to me now, while I rap and sing. The New World Order just put on a black face.” – KRS-One, January 24, 2009.
It is with much sadness that we report the two-year war waged by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) against Pennsylvania Amish farmer Dan Allgyer has been a success. The Washington Times and others are now reporting that, following a ruling last month by Judge Lawrence F. Stengel that Allgyer could no longer ship raw milk across state lines, he is officially shutting down his entire Rainbow Acres Farm.
United States presidential contender Ron Paul has warned that his country is slipping into a twenty-first century fascist system with a broke government ruled by big business.
Stephen Lendman, radio host and author agrees that current US policies are evidence that the country has indeed developed a fascist system.

In 2010 the FBI invaded the homes of peace activists in several states and seized personal possessions in what the FBI–the lead orchestrator of fake “terrorist plots”–called an investigation of “activities concerning the material support of terrorism.”
Subpoenas were issued to compel antiwar protestors to testify before grand juries as prosecutors set about building their case that opposing Washington’s wars of aggression constitutes giving aid and comfort to terrorists. The purpose of the raids and grand jury subpoenas was to chill the anti-war movement into inaction.

The world has long since noticed, and Americans begin to notice, that the 911-Empire crushes life, wealth and community. US government invades at will, and now invades its own continent of citizens.
Any citizen with an attitude is now viewed/surveilled as a suspect, and threatened with specific or inchoate harm. Domestic-Terra-ists-R-Us.
Will there be a control-freak take down of the Net? Regarded as subversive by fear-based government–by the global community, the Net is regarded as a wonder of the Aquarian Age.

I am writing to you as just one veteran, just one man, but today, you may see that I am joined by many more. We gather today before you in support of Ron Paul and not because we think he would merely be a better administrator of government than you, but because we believe your policies to be fundamentally immoral.
There is a dangerous confusion among many pacifists that government gun control will bring us a more peaceful society, but sadly this is far from true. I personally find myself in a rare but growing group of pacifists who oppose any kind of gun control policies whatsoever. It may seem counter intuitive to say that more people having more guns will make us safer, but history shows us that this is actually the case…
